Clearaudio is expanding its range of performance-optimising accessories with the addition of a new Stylus Cleaner Pad. The perfect complement to traditional cleaning methods such as fluids and brushes, the Stylus Cleaner Pad is quick and easy to use, making it ideal for daily maintenance or spontaneous usage.
The stylus of a high-quality cartridge is a delicate component and plays a crucial role in audio reproduction. Regular cleaning is therefore essential and must be both effective and gentle on the sensitive mechanism.
The Stylus Cleaner Pad is made from a special anti-static silicone material, which attracts even the finest dust particles – without the need for any fluids or friction. Usage is simple: the stylus is gently lowered onto the pad two or three times – leaving it microscopically clean and ready for a purer, high-fidelity listening experience.
This low-contact cleaning method significantly reduces the risk of stylus damage and offers a safe alternative to brushes and liquids for fast, everyday use. The compact pad comes in a practical plastic case with a protective lid (53 × 53 × 17 mm). When needed, the pad itself can be easily rinsed under running water and reused once dry.
